Educator Guide

The Educator Guide for the Clemente Community Challenge—inspired by legendary Baseball Hall of Famer and humanitarian Roberto Clemente—will help middle-school educators lead this project-oriented program. In the challenge, student teams develop a project plan, put their plan into action, and tell their story through a two-minute video. Students will work in groups of three to five and learn firsthand the rewards of service work in their school or community. The Clemente Community Challenge is based on the Roberto Clemente Foundation’s mission of Building Nations of Good.

Our Educator Guide aligns with middle-school core curriculum standards and supports educators in meeting their own instructional objectives. The guide provides all the teaching materials necessary to participate in the Clemente Community Challenge, including:
